I am a queer Colombian social designer, researcher, strategist, and educator.
Raised amid Bogotá's dynamic mix of inequality, violence, beauty, kindness, and ingenuity, I witnessed the resilience of people who found joy, built loving relationships, and sustained life amidst adversity. This resilience continues to fascinate and inspire me, fueling my desire to address social issues through compassionate and thoughtful design practices.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed expertise across various design disciplines—including visual design, communications, service design, and research—with a strong focus on the intersection of social justice, design, and systemic change. I am committed to centering the needs and aspirations of the individuals and communities most affected by the systems, products, or services I help create. Collaborating to envision and build equitable pathways brings me immense joy as I work to contribute to a world that sustains all forms of life, human and more-than-human alike.
I am inspired by design’s capacity to reimagine and create systems that challenge the status quo while addressing social imperatives. My work focuses on fostering both individual and collective healing through participatory design research, facilitation, co-creation, and systems thinking—approaches that align deeply with my values and passions.

My professional experience spans across the social services, arts, publishing, and startup sectors. More recently, I have embraced the role of educator, sharing my knowledge and experiences with others. My formal education includes a Bachelor's degree in Design with concentrations in Communication Design and Product Design, certifications in Print Media and Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Design for Social Innovation, equipping me to leverage design as a tool for systemic impact.
My Ethos
I believe that design is not just a technical skill, but a powerful tool for empowerment and transformative change. As a world-building discipline, all design, no matter the form, holds the potential to both enrich and deplete the world and the web of life itself.
In both my personal life and professional practices, I strive to use my ever-evolving skills, knowledge, and awareness of power and privilege to foster understanding, build capacity and resilience within communities and organizations, dismantle systems of oppression, and approach action and design with responsibility and sustainability. I am deeply committed to serving the common good, aiming to minimize harm, alleviate suffering, and contribute to making life easier, more joyful and beautiful for all.
